Decorating your coffee table for Christmas is super easy! This Christmas decor also looks great on a round or square dining table. Let me show you how elegant your coffee can be this holiday in just five easy steps below, or watch my how-video here:

Step 1: Select a Round Tray

Start with a beautiful foundation by using a pretty round tray. I love this wooden tray above from Pier 1. I use it year-round on my coffee table when decorating using The Magic Rule of Three.

A tray gives your centerpiece a great foundation. However, you could skip this step and place your decor directly on the table.

Step 2: Select a Christmas Wreath

I said this was easy Christmas decor. Next step is simply to add your favorite Christmas wreath. It can be simple, ornate, pre-lit or flocked, real or faux. I love using a wreath that already has a few ornaments and pine cones, but any wreath will work!

These are some of my favorite Christmas wreaths currently:

  • White Washed Pine & Pinecone Wreath
  • Magnolia & Pine Wreath
  • Frosted Crabapple Wreath
  • Farmhouse Chic Pine Wreath
  • Sierra Berry Wreath
  • Light Green & Gold Ornament Wreath
  • Silver Iced Wreath

Step 3: Add the Picks

Like with decorating a Christmas centerpiece or Christmas mantel, adding picks is the perfect way to add interest and texture to your wreath. I kept it simple by adding only these glittery ball picks. But you could add more. I get most of my picks from my favorite Christmas decor store but less than $5, most only a buck or two with their great discounts.

These are my favorite picks:

  • Champagne Glitter Sphere Pick
  • Silver Glitter Sphere Pick
  • Pearl White Berry Pick
  • White Tinsel Sphere Spray

Step 4: Add the Candles

Next, add some pretty candles sticks using the Rule of Three – tall, medium and short. I especially love mercury glass.

My two favorite Christmas candle holder sets on Amazon:

  • Mercury Bubble Glass Candle Holders
  • Mercury Glass Ribbed Candle Holders

Step 5: Add a Touch of Whimsy

Finally, every room needs a touch of whimsy in home decorating. I love adding whimsy to my Christmas decor as well. I selected this cute little bird to perch in our wreath this Christmas. She just makes us smile.

Our family wishes you a very Merry Christmas full of love, joy, and peace!
